Hello all! Just wanted to get everyone's feedback about having a cash bar at my wedding instead of having an open bar. Just seen likes an easier way to save some money- and honestly, a great way to keep my family members from getting out of control.

Wow! I'm not one to judge anyone on the choices that they make. It's not my place. We're having a huge party the day before with plenty of food and alcohol for our guests. The wedding day will be beer, wine and a signature drink. That'd just how were hosting. Good luck to the poster...

And last I checked, I will be paying $30 a meal for these guests. That’s a very generous gift to each and every individual who wants to witness our beautiful day, along with the fact that I now provide and FORCE an opportunity for a family reunion that nobody else would’ve planned. My grandparents won’t mind paying $2 for a soda to drink while they chat with my long-lost nieces and nephews.
