Carat, cut, clarity, or color? Which "C" mattered most to you? 💎

Halo cut but carat mattered to me,I have a 1carat ring then price mattered,didn't want to spend a lot

Definitely cost! But when it came to what we could afford (i picked because i wanted it to be as inexpensive for him as possible yet still be in love with it) i wanted a specific carat and clarity which go hand in hand with moissanite. If the carat is too small or large the color and clarity is off.

So my FH picked out a cubic zirconia ring for me because he really wanted to propose with a ring, but he wanted us to be able to pick out my diamond ring together. We cared about all these things to an extent but not hugely. For example, if we could see an obvious flaw or that the diamond was yellow, we didn't want that. But things that are not visible to the naked eye do NOT matter to me at all.

For carat, we just wanted what we could afford! We really loved the idea of 3 stones... the original CZ ring he got me was 3 stones and he told me that the two smaller ones on the side stood for me and him as individuals, and the center stone stood for us joining together. I thought that was so sweet and so "him," so I fell in love with the idea of having 3 stones as something meaningful! The ring we ended up loving has halos around the stones too... so overall it is 1.75 carats, but the center stone is I think 0.6 or 0.7 or something.

Like I said though, we cared way more about finding a ring that felt like "us" than about the other aspects!

I didnt wand anything expensive. I said go to Walmart and find anything. So he found me a ring. I love it!!! It came from his heart. I dont need big fancy rings to show how much he loves me. It is a diamond and small but clear. Why pay a fortune on just materialistic things?

Didn't care for any of those really.
I didn't want just a plain diamond though.
We chose my ring together - which was even more special to me (Because it was nice to see him point out which ones he liked and what he wanted me to have) than if he'd purchased me one himself though i would have loved it just as much!
