Candy buffet. Where did you buy the candy?

Brittany, on March 30, 2018 at 1:36 PM Posted in Planning 0 14

Looking to have a candy/dessert table that will serve as favors. Looking at 6 different jars with 6 types of candy. I'm not looking to spend a crazy amount of money but also not looking for stale/unwanted candy either. Has anyone tried the bulk candy at Party City?

Candy warehouse also sells in bulk and they have the candy buffet kits too. Reasonable price as well.

I've actually been researching recently for my wedding and the places I found with the cheapest bulk candy are Sam's Club (maybe Costco too if they have them in your area, there isn't one close to me) and the Webstaurant Store for bulk M&Ms and Reese's Pieces. Good luck!

I second this! Sam's club is a good place.

I got a lot of mine on Ebay, and Costco is probably another good option

The only candy buffet I have seen at a wedding had a great selection.. she had twizzlers, sour ropes, gum, gummies, etc.. not the plain chocolate types that just "matched" her colors. It was great. Very well put together.

I recommend Amazon. That's where I bought the majority of my bulk candy and it was all "name brand' as opposed to generic stuff. Oriental Trading Company is also a good place and they even have it organized by color but pay attention to generic vs. name brand. They did have some name brand candy but most of it was generic.

I'm getting candy for my favors from candynation.com because they have tons of options and you can get some really cool things for like $20/5lb

Wow- they are really cheap. I just browsed their website. Have you had their candy yet? I'm just curious about the taste.

Sorry, just saw this--I haven't had the candy through them but have tried many of the products as a store I worked in used to purchase the same exact ones through a different supplier who only deals with grocers. I'd avoid any generic wrapped chocolates but otherwise they're the same candies you'd find in a cool candy shop Smiley smile
