My FH and I have two kids together and I’ve been trying on ivory dresses and will likely wear ivory. If you really want to get technical the color white for wedding dresses was about being wealthy not being a virgin, beginning with Queen Victoria. Dresses were expected to be reworn, and a white dress was likely to get stained and ruined. Since most people could afford a single use dress, they wore colors that could be worn again. So rock your ivory dress and don’t give it a second thought 😉.

Love this! The conversations you have with family. My dress is diamond white... This is my second marriage and we have 3 kids. I think you're good.

Tell her wearing white has nothing to do with virginity, that’s just a myth!

That's cute ahaha your grandma sounds funny.
Honestly some people will link white to the color for purity but for weddings there's so many brides who don't wear white purely for the reason of not wanting that color. at the end of the day it's a color and doesn't need to have a symbol behind it
