Can You make a veil from your wedding dress trimmings?

SaraBelle, on March 4, 2021 at 7:41 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 8
My dress was ridiculous long so it got me thinking maybe a could make a veil that matches my dress perfectly, and I was wondering if this is a possible idea and any tips on how one would do this.

I'm also curious about this! I asked my seamstress if she could use extra material from my dress to create sleeves. She said it was possible, but also suggested I order extra material from the designer to be sure it's long enough.

Great idea but I wonder how much it’ll cost. I bought my veil from Amazon for $37-matches my dress perfectly!

I'm not concerned about having enough I was actually really lucky and found my dress at a second hand store and the previous owner must have been really tall and I'm really short so there's literally yards left over, love the idea of using the trimmings to make sleeves that's a money saving genius idea.

That's awesome the dress as extra material for a possible veil! What length of veil are you thinking? Long? Short?

In that case, I think it's very doable to turn it into a veil!
