Can you have two best men?

Mikel, on August 30, 2011 at 6:04 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 17

My fiance is going to have 4 GM, but doesn't want to choose between 2 of them to be his best man. I keep telling him he can have them both be best men. Anyone else have more than 1 best man?

My FH is having 2 best men. That's because I am having a matron & maid of honor.

You can do what you want!

I'm having two MOH, but my groom is only having 1 Best-Man. And that Best-man is actually a woman!

Of course. FH's friend had 2, FH got to sign the certificate, the other one got the "label".

My FH and I aren't having a BM or MOH - just regular GM and BM because we were having the same issues of choosing between everyone

We are in the same boat!! FH couldn't choose between them so we have two best men and one maid of honor. I think everyone can do it exactly how they want on their wedding day their are no set in stone rules! Smiley smile

I have a maid and matron of honor, but there's only one best man. I don't think anyone cares, honestly. I did try to split up 'special' responsibilities between my two ladies so they'd both feel important.

I am going to have two Matron of Honors but I do have a question. One is married and the other is divorced. Is the divorced one still considered a matron because she does have a child?

FH is having 2- originally they were both supposed to be standing with him- but unfortunately one of them is getting deployed in January and probably won't be back in time for the wedding :-( so sad.

Absolutely! You can do whatever you want! I had my sister as my Maid of Honor, and my sister-in-law as my Matron of Honor!
