Calling those of you with unique E-rings 1
I used to have a job where I was concerned about having my ring catch on things, so I decided to just have a band. I have never really thought of myself as a diamond type of gal, so I decided to get emeralds (my birth stone) I have had some people comment that it doesn’t look like an engagement ring and other things along those lines and I am not really sure how to respond to that. I was just wondering if anyone else has dealt with this. Feel free to share pictures of your ring as well.

Nothing too crazy different but it’s a ruby instead of a diamond. His grandfather made this ring for his grandma.

This is mine. It was his mother’s ring. I love that it’s so unique.

I personally hate diamonds, and I wanted a completely conflict free stone... and I also work with my hands, so I didn't want something stupidly expensive.

Found my ring on Etsy years ago, and bookmarked it. Gave the link to friends, they gave it to DH...

It's a lab created sapphire, in purple. Perfect for me!

Don't even reply to them...it looks pretty cool to me! Emerald green is also my birth stone and one of the main reasons why we decided on that as our wedding color! He also proposed to me on my birthday so it just worked. And his favorite color is 💚😊

The part about it getting caught on things is super valid...one time I fell down the steps that had a metal railing... I tried stopping myself and hit my hand on it smh. When I got up I just knew it had broke off. I didn't even want to look at my hand lol.

Rose gold band with sapphire trio. I didn’t want to worry about my ring catching on things or scratching me, and I liked the delicacy of it since I wasn’t sure if I wanted an engagement ring in the first place. This is thin enough that with the intended wedding band, it won’t feel thick. It also feels like it’s special and unique, which I love.

it's a claddagh. The heart is for love, the crown is for loyalty, and the hands are for friendship.
