Calling All Brides...what Are You Thankful For?

Soon2Bemarried, on November 23, 2020 at 12:11 AM Posted in Community Conversations 0 22

As Thanksgiving approaches and in light of the times we’re currently in...what are you thankful for?

I am thankful for my loved ones, the strengthen God has given me through this year, my health and joining the Wedding Wire where I’ve felt constant support from this community in sharing our commonalities and differences.
Happy (early) Thanksgiving!

I am thankful for my wonderful fiance, my adorable and ridiculous dog, tea, blankets, good books, and all the small, simple moments of peace and happiness we're all too quick to take for granted.

I'm thankful for my health, my support system and family; thankful for my fiancé. Most importantly, thankful for God's blessing and perseverance.

So many things to be thankful for. My fiancé, family & friends are near the top of the list. My sobriety & my higher power will & has to come 1st. Anything I put in front of that I will lose.

I love this, this year has been literal hell for me so to focus on the positives!!! I’m thankful for my dog, who has been a godsend during this time and who I’ve gotten to spend my days with. I’m thankful for my fiancé for holding down the fort and paying the bills and just being his absolutely amazing self. And I’m very thankful for the family I have both within my own family but also with his family. They’ve been so supportive and loving towards me, especially this year when I needed it most. His sister is one of my very best friends now and I’m just so thankful to have them.

My husband. This year has been horrible in so many ways, and I am not the best version of myself, but he still supports me, is incredibly patient, and does whatever he can to be there for me and cheer me up.

I'm super struggling with this right now.

So, I'll say that I'm glad I insisted we go on our honeymoon in January, and not postpone til, say, October...

I'm thankful to be alive after catching Covid-19 in August. I'm thankful my grandmother is alive after catching Covid-19 in July. I'm thankful for my FH, sons, family, friends and support system. I'm thankful 2021 is on the horizon and thankful for positivity.
