California August brides, what flowers are you using to keep costs down?

What exactly are your ordering?

I'm at just over $6,000 with seasonal flowers.

Bridal Bouquet, 6 Bridesmaid bouquets, toss bouquet, 10 boutonnieres, 4 corsages, 2 ceremony arrangements, 18 small aisle bouquets, 25 large centerpieces, sweetheart table decor and garland, gift table arrangement, guest book table arrangement, cake table arrangement.

I was married August 3rd and paid about 1500 for flowers. This included all bouquets, boutonnieres, flower crowns, aisle pieces, centerpieces, and random decor in the reception. It helps if you don't specify a specific flower. Tell your florist the look your going for and make sure they know you're ok with substitutions.
I had a ranch wedding and wanted lavender, but lavender is expensive and almost out of season, so they used a lavender substitute that was just as beautiful.

Just saw you're in Nipomo....I got married in Buellton, used Lompoc Valley Florist. They did fantastic and were half the price of other quotes I received.
