Cake Wars: Fruit or Chocolate?

Both. Although I'll make sure to have something for everyone because I'm sure there will be people who don't like fruit or chocolate.

Think it's gonna be fruit for us. We both like strawberries, and it will be a summer wedding. Think that's our flavour sorted now. Thanks.

Chocolate hands down. FH made one with Amarula buttercream frosting (Amarula is an African cream liqueur, a bit fruity and nutty) and I really want that for our wedding cake

I really love both but FH doesn't care much for fruit so it would have to be chocolate.

It kind of depends on the day, but I prefer chocolate over fruit most of the time.

This is a never ending battle for my FH and I. I am a chocoholic and want everything super rich and decadent and if he had his way we’d be eating key lime pie at our wedding - total dessert opposites. I think we will end up with cake tiers in different flavors (lemon and chocolate) to keep the peace haha

My cake is regular wedding cake flavor. His is chocolate. I wanted strawberries with his chocolate cake but he doesn’t.

I'm not feeling chocolate or fruit on my wedding cake. Its shocking because I love fruit but it's a no go for a wedding cake. It looks nice though.
