Cake cutting song

There have been lots of threads about which song to play for processional, recession, first dance, parent's dance, etc. Thought I'd ask what song you have chosen for your cake cutting. My top three were: Sugar, Sugar (The Archies) - vetoed by FH, Sugar (Maroon 5) - vetoed by FH, & How Sweet It Is...

There have been lots of threads about which song to play for processional, recession, first dance, parent's dance, etc. Thought I'd ask what song you have chosen for your cake cutting. My top three were: Sugar, Sugar (The Archies) - vetoed by FH, Sugar (Maroon 5) - vetoed by FH, & How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You) (James Taylor). Never thought FH would feel so strongly about this particular aspect of the wedding, but I had to let him have his way since 90% of everything else is mostly me asking "What do you think? Can we do this/it this way?"

    We played "Flowers in your hair" by The Lumineers because it's a really short and sweet song that I really wanted to play at the wedding somewhere.

    We went back and forth between several songs...but in the end, we will be using "I can't help myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch)" by the Four Tops. FH kept coming back to it. I wanted Sugar by Maroon 5 but since I didn't cave on the Grand Entrance songs, I decided to give on this one. Smiley smile And it's cute. 10 more days!
