Looking for venues in Michigan that allow you to bring your own catering. My fiancé works in the industry and found its cheaper to use his company but a lot of places don’t allow outside catering. Please help!

Check and see what facilities are rented out by the parks and recreation department of your city! Lots of time they have chalets/ or gathering spaces for rent at low cost and are flexible with catering like that.

It can be difficult to find a venue which allows external caterers due to concern of liability.
When couples have a caterer they wish to use for their wedding, I always recommend speaking with them and asking for a list of venues they’ve catered weddings at before. This will give you a list of venues you know allow external caterers and save you a ton of time!
