My main issue is i have worked way too hard on these programs (DIY) To change it so im just trying to find a non living thing to release but i was going to give all the guests bubbles so i feel if they all do it then it wont be as special

oh, to have a life where to use a program or not was the sole cause of my stress.

@Yasmin based on their request to bring "lots and lots of cash to the wedding" to their guests (direct quote), I don't think this is actually her biggest problem.

Not sure if you want to switch to sparkles at the end for everyone (if that's not already in the program) and do bubbles for your girls, either way I wish you luck. Have a good day.

Just use the freaking programs. If they are fans and you're getting married on a hot day, 99% of the people won't read them anyway because they'll be fanning themselves. NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON is going to stand up in the middle of the ceremony and say "Um, excuse me, you skipped the part about releasing something...it's right here on the program so you need to make sure you do that." You are stressing yourself out more than you need to about it. Just use them, forget about it and move on.

Sevanna, I have so many things that I did that were DIY. I know it is hard to let go of that stuff. You put a lot into it and usually we are pretty proud of what we have done. I had to let go my DIY centerpieces as well as a few other things that were pretty important to me at first. This is the same thing that you are stuck with. Try to find some stickers if you want to go forward with it, but I highly doubt anyone will be wondering what was released. Most people don't look at programs unfortunately. Focus on the stuff that is more important right now. Confirm your vendors, get your gifts in order, make sure everything else is good to go. This is just one bump. Don't let it suck any more energy out of you than it already has.

Leave the programs the way they are no one will care. no one will even remember that something was supposed to be released by the time they get home. Dont waste money reprinting.

Lots of good suggestions here. I would probably just use the programs and not worry about the word "releasers" being in it. Nobody is going to be anywhere near as bothered by it as you are. But if you're still wanting a role for those girls and don't want to do bubbles twice, maybe consider having them be ribbon dancers. You might even be able to find some satin ribbon with butterflies on it to incorporate into those so that in a way, they will have butterflies flying behind them.

Honestly, you are feeling attacked because YOU are getting defensive and people are just trying to help you with this ridiculous problem you seem to have gotten yourself in to.

Guess what, some problems don't have super magical solutions, you just make do and MOVE ON with the best available solution, which in this case is use the programs (no one will read them) or use bubbles. Your wedding will happen whatever choice you make.

Your problem has been solved for a long time now, you are just refusing to see it.

How about releasing biodegradable balloons

We are releasing balloons that look like doves at our wedding. You don't have time to order those, but you can use balloons in your wedding color to be released. Maybe put tags with you name and wedding date on it or little love notes. Just an idea
