Ok so I know the whole asking your bridesmaid in a cute way is the new "trendy" thing to do. I'm kinda torn on this, just wanted to hear everyone's thoughts did you/didn't you do it, if you did how did you?

I did, but I had already asked them all first. This is what I gave them. All from Etsy. My MOH on the other hand I took to dinner and actually proposed to her. She new she was going to be a BM, she just wasn't sure I was going to ask her to be my MOH. She thought it was cute and posted a pic on FB.
I nonchalantly made a comment to each of my girls in conversation if they would even want to be in the wedding and than about a week or two later I put personalized bags together with cute little messages highlighting major events going on in each of my girls lives and than asking if they would be a bridesmaid. They all loved them and all said yes.
I did it. I mailed a box with a bunch of cute shit they liked with a secret agent-themed letter asking for their assistance on a secret mission as my bm.
I did a proposal box for them (see picture). It was a wooden box I painted white an put their initial in gold on the front. They can re-use as a jewelry box afterwards. I put a mini bottle of champs that I glittered and a stemless champs glass with their name on it, and some matching chocolates. I also asked my MOH's son to be our ring bearer so I sent this bear with her gift
I "proposed" to my MOH on my engagement night from my engagement location (we were across the country), but the rest I asked in person without a "proposal"

I bought scented candles that were my colors and got them a decorative candle holder to put them in.
Because of the advice I got here, I actually called my girls and asked them first just to remove the pressure of saying yes.
Once they did, I gave them boxes. It had a bottle of wine, wine glass, picture of us from one of my favorite memories with the person, and a card. No real bridesmaid stuff. They appreciated it. Drank the wine. Put the picture wherever. Done.
I did boxes and put a wine glass with a small bottle of wine and bridal party Tshirt, a card and nail polish to show the color and a ring pop. They loved them
