I got my bridesmaids journals with their initial on them.

    ^these are them!

One loves writing, the other loves drawing and so these are perfect. PLUS, In the front I'll write a sweet message!

Wine, chocolate, a good book, restaurant gift cards, Starbucks gift cards, a nice pashmina scarf, picture frame, scented candle... Lots of ideas! Unless you want to get them something personal and unique to each of their interests.

I'm going to get my bridesmaids custom wine glasses that we'll be able to use the morning of the wedding for mimosas. They're from Etsy and have painted on them dresses (in the color they're wearing) with their names and the wedding date on the bottom. They're surprisingly only $10 each. Can't wait to give them to them. Smiley smile

I'm thinking of doing something along these lines for part of their gift, but I like th journal idea, too!

I'm honestly just pretending in my mind that it's their birthday. What would I get them? What would they like? I only have three, but they all have very unique personalities. Rather than getting them the same gift or a generic BM gift they've seen a million times, I'm just going to get something that I think they'd really enjoy.

I love Kristy's idea. I would love a basket of random, USEFUL, things. Wine, giftcards (!), picture frame for a picture of the two of you from the wedding (to be given at a later date, duh), treats....

Not sure if this is very unique, but I know alcohol is generally a good gift to give since it's likely to actually be used. If your BMs drink wine, maybe get them each a bottle that you know they'd like. You could pair it with one of those fun painted glasses (http://www.lolitamartiniglasses.com/lolita-wine-glasses.html or through an Etsy seller).

I found some really pretty clutches on Etsy that come monogrammed, and they are a pretty good sized too. Great reviews for the quality. They were 18 a piece or you buy 6 get 7th free for 108.00 total. They come in different colors with different monogram colors

I'm getting the "traditional" robes too.

Get them an experience! Gift card for a mani-pedi, massage, paint n sip class, theater tickets...whatever they enjoy in their free time.

Avoid tchotchkes like candles, frames, dishes, ornaments that will just collect dust, or customized things like totes, shirts or single glasses (seriously, after the wedding, imagine that customized wine glass wedged into the cupboard with a nice set of plain wine glasses. Which will get pulled down when company comes over? Not the painted one. It's REALLY hard to transport and re-use things like that)

I got each of mine a tote bag with a tumbler, monogrammed make up bag, jeweled compact, flip flops, a bath robe, a kimino robe and a personalized hanger, and 2 bracelets (one for wedding, one for just them).

I know the robes seem "overdone" but I really love the floral cotton robes in the same colour as the bridesmaid dresses (and i'm getting myself one in white). I think it's really cute when you wear them for the "getting ready" photos on the day of and then can be used afterward too. Several sets are available on Etsy and you can get them monogrammed

I keep going back on forth on what I want to get my gals. I'm thinking a $25 gift card to their favorite store and then a personal item that will compliment their personality/interest.

    Here is what I'm thinking:

    - Loki Blanket or merchandise

(MOH) - Groupon for a photography class (she loves taking pictures)

    - Custom Cookbook

    - Some fashion jewelry

    - I have no idea lol

(MOH) - Something related to the Denver Broncos

Mini bars, ring dishes, mini jewelry case, & mini zipper pouch (think small make-up case for your purse) - both from 31 Gifts. Thinking about adding personalized Tervis tumblers since they both drink coffee.

I got mine each a small ring dish in the main color at each of their weddings (I was a bridesmaid in kf their weddings). I found the ring dish on etsy for $8. I also got them each a merino cardigan, since the ceremony is in the mountains in September.

    kidding, of course:

Might even pair then with a bottle of wine. Also want to get them something else, so I love all these suggestions!

My gifts were included in a "proposal." This is my MOH's: I filled a pink reusable container with lotions and bodywashes, candles, and lots of other pink pampering things. Also her champagne flute for morning mimosas on the day of, saying Maid of Honour and her name. Also a bottle champagne with a label I put on saying, "I can't say I do without you, will you be my maid of honour?"
