I went with tea length (just about knee length) for my July wedding.

Long. After seeing my sister my MOH try on a short dress I really think they are too casual for most weddings. We went with a long dress which I think is much more appropriate for our venue.

Long, with a March wedding in New York it will most likely be a bit chilly. These are what I'm hoping to get, but the girls haven't tried anything on yet!

I personally think it depends on you BM body types always play a role in deciding what length works. My girls are thick so they have nice size backsides and thick thighs most are top heavy so that made me go with long dresses.

I love long dresses and my MOH was wearing a long navy dress.

I gave the girls the option of either, everyone loved long with a slit. So, thats what they did!

    So many votes for long!!

I went with long dresses as well - I think they are an easy style and look formal enough next to a tux! As a bridesmaid in the past I'm tied up and have short dresses twice and long dresses twice.

Daughter was originally thinking short, but then realized with one BM who is nearly 6' tall and another who is not quite 5' a "short" dress was going to look VERY different on them (and the 5' BM is plus-size, while the other four are all on the tall, thin-side). She decided on long dresses because even on very different heights, they'll look more similar.

Also, Azazie "try-on" dresses arrived today and all three are gorgeous and very well made. She's super-excited -- Yay!

My sister was my only bridesmaid. She had a short dress. Here we are (with our mom):

Definitely long! I think it’s a more formal and flattering look overall. One of the weddings I was in had short BM dresses (all of us wore the same style/color) and they were different lengths on us. Some above the knee, some below. I also personally didn’t feel comfortable or like it was very flattering on any of us, but it would’ve been a gorgeous dress if it were long!

They didn't pick yet, but I'm letting them wear whatever as long as it's the color I picked.

Long dresses are what both of my girls are wear. Maid of honor is a gigantic klutz and doesn't want all the scars on her legs to show.

Short but definitely above the knees. I’m going for an authentic 1950’s wedding so they will have knee length dresses with petticoats underneath for some extra poof
