I have 14 tats and I plan to cover none of them. My dress is very low cut, and has a deep back with spaghetti straps. I put them on my body for a reason!! Why not show them off!!
I have one on my collar bone that I got basically on a whim and it is spelled wrong. It's a huge pain point for me as you can imagine... I'm covering her up, because I plan to remove it, and I don't want it in photos. My other tattoo you can kind of see through the dress, but I love that one.
I have 14 tattoos Including tattoos on my arms, sternum, and covering my shoulder blades. I chose a dress that showed off all of those, I have one on my thigh too I wish I could show off 😂
My leg tattoos are pretty much always covered due to their placement. I have five large tattoos on my back that go shoulder to shoulder in one large design. I didn’t cover them up as they’re me and I wanted to be me on my wedding day. But I found when I got my pictures back, that they didn’t photograph well. I don’t know why, but they were distracting to me in any photos from the back. I was very disappointed as they’re all ‘pretty’ tattoos and I expected they would photograph well.
I have one very small tattoo on my arm, it means a lot to me so I won't be covering it

I have two tattoos, one on my collar bone and a quote on my back shoulder. I actually chose to pick a wedding dress that would emphasis these tattoos. I love wearing necklaces, but have chosen against it for my wedding due to it taking away form my collarbone tattoo. I think it depends on how you feel your tattoos would go with your dress or wedding. Mine matches my theme and also is a quote I’ve had with me since I was in middle school.
I covered mine up for my first wedding and I just didn’t feel like myself. My tattoos are a part of who I am and covering them on my wedding was my mother’s idea. But for this wedding I won’t be covering them. I have a half sleeve and a shoulder blade tattoo that will be showing and my FH is COVERED 😍🤤 so we will be embracing and loving our art.
