I have a heart tattoo on the right side of my back, so I wasn't going to cover it.

I have a pretty big cross between my shoulder blades. I don’t want to cover it, but I am wearing a cape with my gown & then my veil will be over that, so that my tattoo won’t be the main focus of all my pictures from behind. I love my tattoo, but I just don’t want it to stick out so much, because of it’s size.

I was just thinking about this, I just bought my dress and you can see the tattoo on my back. I haven't particularly loved this tattoo since getting it. Its a pretty tattoo and all but the artist didn't do it as I asked him, I typically don't mind because its on my back and forget about it, but my dress is strapless and I'm not sure I want it to be in my wedding photos. It just stands out and looks out of place. However, the time and money to find a reliable product to cover it, last all day and not ruin my dress seems like a hassle. Plus someone to cover it for me since its on my back. What do you guys think?

I have a roadrunner on my upper back/ left shoulder blade and I’m not covering mine up! The roadrunner is something I associated with my Papa, who passed away when I was a baby, and I got the tattoo with the intent of showing it whenever I got married! I wanted my dad to be on my right and my papa on my left so I’m a way they would both be giving me away!

I have a tattoo of our daughters hand and the main requirement for the dress I wore was that it showed her hand

Absolutely not! I saw someone say on here that they didn’t spend the money on them to cover. They’re art! If you prefer to of course there’s nothing wrong with it! I’ve been saying since my first tattoo 10 years ago that I can’t wait to show them off!

I don’t have any tattoos. My sister has one on her foot. She debated about this as well. She eventually decided to go with a pair of heels that would hide it. I know one on the foot is much easier to hide then like a full sleeve.

You're welcome. Here's an example of what my artist has done with airbrush makeup:

If you want to cover it, ask your makeup artist about airbrush makeup.

I have constellations on my collarbones and a survivor tattoo on my inner right wrist. I haven't decided on what to do with them yet, I might end up covering them or I might not. It will depend on the dress and how I feel closer to.

I only have one on my arm but I’m not covering it up. Might have more by the wedding but don’t intend on covering it.

I have a full sleeve and a half sleeve and I am covering mine up! Solely because I want a long sleeve dress, and I always have, even before I had tattoos, not because I don’t want to show them off hahaha

I have a collarbone tattoo and it'll be on full display with my off-shoulder dress. It's not very extravagant however (even if it was I would have it on display though, I love my tattoos!)

I have one TINY tattoo on my side, but my dress also has a lace cutout panel on the side in the same spot. I doubt it will be able to show through.
