THE DRESS DONT GOT NO WIRES ON IT. THE CRINOLINE PETTY COAT SLIP WILL LET THE FABRIC "PUFF" UP LIKE A MARSHMELLOW. YOU CAN ASK THE PEOPLE WHERE YOU GOT YOUR DRESS TO SHOW YOU SOME OPTIONS TO HELP WITH THE VOLULME OF THE DRESS IF THAT WHAT YOU WANT. I ATTACHED A PICTURE OF A HOOP SLIP IF THATS THE TYPE OF THING YOU ARE LOOKING FOR.

ALSO, IS YOUR CAPS LOCK ON? BECAUSE I READ YOUR MESSAGES LIKE YOUR YELLING AT US SO I AM YELLING BACK.

Should I wear crinoline under this dress? I have no idea if this is what is considered ball gown style!

Jennifer, I think a crinoline would puff that out some more, quite nicely. But technically I think your dress is A-line, not ballgown.

I think a hoop skirt is going to be larger than your average ballgown. I have a hoopskirt and it has a 130" circumference at the base. I don't think most ballgowns actually go out that much.

Even if you don't want the poofy effect, you will still want to wear a petticoat, because it acts as a layer between you and the dress so that the dress doesn't go in between your legs!

I think so, as Jessica said, you have more of an A-line than a ball gown.

Maybe try to find a slip that says "A-line"

But I feel your dress can kinda fit like mine (see my profile) and I just had a little extra crinoline at the bottom of the dress (below the knees) to make that poof out. I think you only need some poof from your hands down to get more of that fit and flare look (if you like that look)
