Bridal Shower/Bachelorette Party Thank You Notes

Kim, on August 15, 2017 at 1:51 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 5

Happy Tuesday! I had my bridal shower and bachelorette party on Saturday, since 2 of my bridesmaids live out of state. I received gifts from some people for both the shower and the party. Should I send two separate thank you notes, one for each gift? Should I mail both thank you notes separately or throw them in the same envelope? I don't mind mailing them separately but would that be silly since they're both going to the same place and both gifts are from the same day? Thanks!

I didn't receive gifts from anyone for my bachelorette but everyone really went above and beyond so I am going to send them a note after my shower on Sunday thanking them for a shower gift (if they give one) and their time/effort/etc. at the bachelorette party. Sending two seems a little much.

I had my shower/bach the same day too and I wrote one thank you for both. I made sure to mention each event and wrote more for people who attended both.

I would do one thank you note and mention both events like @SLR suggested.

One note and mention both events. Two is redundant at that point
