Breakfast the day of the wedding ??

I'm now onto the final little details of the wedding. Everyone always says "The bride never gets a chance to eat on her wedding day!" Well, I get really sick when I don't eat enough so I'm going to have to avoid this trend. (If I don't there's a strong chance I'll pass out at the alter) The timeline...

I'm now onto the final little details of the wedding. Everyone always says "The bride never gets a chance to eat on her wedding day!" Well, I get really sick when I don't eat enough so I'm going to have to avoid this trend. (If I don't there's a strong chance I'll pass out at the alter) The timeline is looking mighty busy since it's a 2pm wedding so lunch is out of the question but a big breakfast will do just fine.

How will you all make sure you had a good breakfast the day of?

I will have no makeup on so eating a restaurant is out of the question. Room service is rather pricey, should I find a catering place and do a few platters or should we do a to-go order from a local restaurant?

Thank you for the snack idea ladies, I'll be sure to include that on my "to do" list, which is extremely long.

I know Panara caters bag lunches, that's also a good option.

I'm getting the honeymoon suite for the night before and the girls are meeting me in the morning for hair/make up and to get ready. I'm getting a bagel try with a bunch of cream chesses and a fruit tray and muffins so we can eat while getting ready.

I am staying at a hotel the night before so I can be there and not have to wake up at the crack of dawn because I am NOT a morning person and the venue is an hour away. My MOH is staying with me and her job is to go downstairs and get a bunch of stuff from the free breakfast the hotel offers. I don't normally eat breakfast, but I don't want to get sick from NOT eating so a bagel or some fruit and juice will be good!

Our Venue is an Historic B&B, so we will be eating breakfast privately in our room before I go up to my moms room to get ready Smiley winking

I think packing snacks is a great idea...that way you have a choice of what you eat. Smiley winking

I would set up a to go order from a local restaurant a few days before so that you know it is going to be there and don't get stuck with a huge room-service bill.

I have to eat something too or else I get grouchy and start feeling woozy! So I hope my day goes well and start off with a small but filling breakfast at my house with my BM's then head off to the salon! Ahh I can't wait!

@Jen, most hotels offer fantastic discounts if you purchase the room in advance. We've always saved a lot of money that way :o)

@Lu, I'm coming across the same problem. I need to be dressed and ready to roll out by 11am. As of right now my wake up call will be 7am (I'm not a morning person). Food & drinks in the room will be a must!

I'll have to talk to both my mom and sister to see what options they would prefer. I'm liking the idea of a platter so we can all pick and choose. There's a Wendys nearby as well so one of them may have to run out and grab me a greasy burger! Smiley winking
