Braless on the big day?

Katy, on April 1, 2012 at 1:50 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 38

Anyone else doing it? I just can't fathom spending more money on a bra just to wear with the dress. (especially when my girls look pretty damn good without- lol)

I'm going braless. I have a corsetted strapless dress that supports them just fine. I found it ridiculous how the bridal salons were trying to sell me these strapless bras that didn't fit and supported even less than the dress did.

I think I'm going braless. My dress holds them up pretty well and the ladies at the dress shop said most girls do not wear a bra under their dress.

My dress has a lot of structure so the girls stay put. A strapless bra does separate them and minimize the cleavage though. We'll see - my original plan was braless, but I seem to be dropping pounds of nervous energy lately and I think my bodice will have to be taken in. The ladies fluctuate in size anyway based on the time of the month and whatnot. We'll just see where they lay that morning I guess.

I didn't buy a special bra though. My dress isn't backless or anything, so my regular strapless bra works just fine.

Strapless corset dress will be doing the supporting on my big day. I want that dress synced super tight so I feel like adding a bra would just be more bulk.

It depends on your girls. You also have to factor in the dancing you'll be doing. You don't want them bouncing like crazy. I'm way to well endowed to consider going braless! But I bought a dress I could wear a normal bra with, intentionally.

Then again, I have plenty of strapless bras I use all the time anyway...

I might be, it depends on the dress I choose, I am quite busty so I might not have that option...

I was able to go braless to prom, but since then the girls had grown and that just won't do. My strapless bra works perfectly with my dress though, so it is no hassle anyway.

I'm getting cups sewn into the dress. The back of my dress goes down low, so I couldn't pull off a bra anyway.

My dress has a built in corset (not a lace up though) and plenty of boning to provide structure and support. The seamstress is sewing in cups to just help fill out and provide shape though.

I am too endowed to go braless but I do have a very nice strapless bra that I already own that I can wear with my dress.

When I bought my dress, it was a little tight with a bra. I tried it on the other day without one and it fit perfect! So I am definitely going braless the day of. Smiley smile

I've forgotten how low the back of my gown is (haven't seen my gown since last October) but I am pretty sure that I have to have cups sewn into my dress or some similar solution.
