Bouquet Toss: Yea or Nay?

Are you tossing your bouquet at your wedding, or skipping this tradition? If you’re tossing, will it be your actual bouquet or a prop? Photo by Ira Lippke Studios in New York, NY Next question: Garter Toss: Yea or Nay? Or start from the beginning here: Yea or Nay?

I am going to do this, I think its fun! I have a toss bouquet that I will be tossing and giving the catcher to keep. All of my flowers are fake so they will be able to keep it for a while! We are skipping the garter toss, I am not comfortable having him up my skirt in front of his parents and grandmother, thats a no for us.

Yes, and I’m gonna pick a very comical song to go with it!

We are skipping. We are having a small wedding with close family and friends most of which are already married

I’m thinking ‘Ladies Night’ by Kool and the Gang or ‘Foxy Lady’ by Jimi Hendrix 😏

I have absolutely detested these when I was single and also I don't have very many single people invited so we will be skipping! Maybe I'll give it to my niece after everything. I know some of you want to keep it because it will mean something to you, but to me it sounds like something that's going to sit around and collect dust!

We skipped it. But for the first time, I went to a wedding where the toss was fun. Anyone not currently married, male or female, prize was a 3 layer 12" spice cake, with caramel between layers, and cherries, and a caramel icing. About a third reaching up were guys. General laughter , not the embarrassment of participants who do not want to do it being urged to.

I plan on skipping this unless there are unexpected unmarried females as plus ones... I just cannot think of any we’ve invited so I cannot see the point

No waste of money and a lot girls hate being labeled single and not married.

Will probably skip! Mainly because I don't want to do a garter toss, nor make any single ladies feel bad.
