Boudoir - how many outfits/photos did you do?

I did 3 outfit changes and I bought 7 pictures. I felt like that was plenty for pictures that don’t get displayed or shown. They sit in a box in my husbands closet. I don’t remember how many I got to look through and pick from. More came out good than I was anticipating, but I don’t think I needed 25 different ones. I would go with choice A.

I agree with Cassidy. 15 should be plenty for pictures likely only you and your FH will look at! The package I got comes with 3 outfits and 2 prints and then you can purchase additional pics that you like after. I'm only planning on getting the 5 print add on since they're so expensive.

Is it at all possible to have package A come with a little black book (I'm thinking it's like a photo album). Or ask photographer B if they can accommodate for less pictures. I'm sure they've seen plenty of people who don't think they will like one, and end up loving lots.


But if your hubby is just going to hide them away and not look at them more than once then package A will probably be best.

I just did my boudoir shoot last Saturday- it was very liberating! A coworker does it as a side job so I got an amazing deal. I had 3 lingeries, a dress I’m using for our rehearsal dinner, a veil (I used it with my white lingerie), his dress blue jacket (he’s a firefighter), a flag with a thin red line & a few shower shots. She charged $250 for 2.5 hours photo shoot.

I did 4; one with an American flag, one in black lacy lingerie, one in a white bridal outfit with a thong that said MRS across the front ans the 4th was with the letter B (last name Butcher). Def do what you want and see if the price difference is worth it!

The photographer I was looking at is allowing me to take a look at the photos before picking the number of prints I’d want. I’m not sure if this is something that is an option for you since there’s also a difference in how many outfits you get to wear, but it could be worth mentioning. That way you don’t purchase the more expensive package and end up not liking as many pictures as they give you

One of my best friends is a Boudoir photographer. My cousin and I went to my best friend so that my cousin could do a photo shoot. I would highly recommend 4 outfits. My cousin had a about 4 or 5, but I think she only got photos in 4 of them. The outfit change makes the photos that much more special. You may end up hating an outfit that you envisioned in your head as so cute, but it may not photograph well. Therefore I highly suggest the 4 outfits best wishes!
