Boudoir brides- where did you get book printed? Lingerie?

LindseyK17, on April 9, 2017 at 11:55 AM Posted in Community Conversations 0 10

I have my boudoir session scheduled for the end of this month and I am SO excited about it, but the cost of having my photographer print the book was way out of my budget (already splurging a bit on this because I love the photographer).

For those of you that had a book printed, where did you get it done? I feel a bit awkward sending it off to someplace like Shutterfly, but if that's the best option I'd do it.

And where did you find your lingerie? Trying to find options other than VS because it's so expensive! I already know I'll be wearing his old baseball jersey from when he played in a semi-pro league, which I think will be an awesome surprise, but I have unlimited outfit changes so I want to do some with sexy lingerie as well.

If you're comfortable sharing pics, would love to see them as well for inspo!

I got my album from my photographer. It was definitely more expensive that way but I was too nervous to take my pictures somewhere to get an album printed. I got my lingerie from adoreme and it turned out great!

I also did some ones I like in a sheer robe and panty and bra set. I am too self conscious of my tummy to just do bra and panty. So the robe helped disguise things but they are still sexy!

I am doing one at the end of the month with the same concerns. And trying to find lingerie online is hard because you don't know how it'll fit. Someone told me to try maternity stuff being concerned with my stomach area it would help to cover it and still look sexy. But I like Miranda G's idea. And the jersey will def be a hit! I'm also doing a baseball jersey. The only time he'll see me in Yankees stuff lol

Baseball jerseys seem to be a popular choice! I was going to do his STL Cardinals jersey, but we're in the process of moving (the same month as the wedding, because we're horrific planners) and I found his old jersey so I decided on that instead.

Thank you for the AdoreMe tip, Miranda! There's a lot of really cute stuff (and first purchase is $20, which is even better!).

@Brenda - my photographers, Your Story Photo Cinema, recently hired on a woman that specializes in it! I love love love Jeremy Melisa so I knew anyone they hired on would also be awesome, and I was very impressed with her work.

Here's a link to her personal business page with info on boudoir:

I wore two "outfits", the first was a babydoll with thigh high stockings and heels, and the second was just a thong and lacy bralette and heels. FH preferred the bralette and thong pictures, he could care less about the babydoll and stockings and all that. The less clothing the better!

ETA: I didn't have the budget/desire to spend money on an album, I'm just going to take my USB to a Walgreens and print out the pictures.
