My Mori Lee dress had lots of "bling". It's hard to see from pictures, but it was super sparkly.

Edited to add: At only $650 it was relatively inexpensive.

Keep in mind, embellishments- like crystals, beading, etc- are what drive the price of a dress up. You may have to compromise a bit on what you want to stayin your budget.

Another option is used dresses. But the costs to alter anything with crystals or beading will be astronmical- so factor that into your budget!

Kristen, mine was lazaro (see my profile pic for the bodice)...if you find a sample that fits you the Lazaro gowns could be in your price range. I also tried Rivini gowns that had a lot of bling but they were more expensive...you might want to look at their website for some inspiration though! Good luck.

Maggie sottero (the gowns go up to $1500, but there are some under 1000) and mori lee are great starting points.

And, really, I'd check out davids bridal, you never know what they might have

Remember that rhinestones and cheap crystals show up very flat in photos. If sparkle is important to you you need swarovski crystals or other nice stones. A lot of manufactures use silver and cold threading, glitter and sequins to create an illusion of "bling" without running up the price tag. If you really want the bling you need to raise your budget or go used.

I had tried on dresses at a Bridal Superstore and found an absolutly gorgeous dress that was $1900 marked down to $699. Of course it took them awhile to take me to their back room where all of the clearanced out dresses were. It definately was my dream dress but since we having something so small and casual, I needed something more informal.

Do you really want a brand new one or is used okay? I know if you find a sample dress store in your area I bet you could find some REALLY blinged out dresses!

Maggie sottero, some Alfred Angelo, Panina Tornie (I can not spell their names, sorry!) Are the ones that come to mind when I think bling. >.<

Kristen, by the way I ended up making my own dress. Its a light brown creamy satin. Lovely fabric. I'm embellishing it with ecru colored pearls and topaz colored austrian crystals for bling. Very cheap from Hobby Lobby. Pearls were about 2 bucks for three strands, and the crystals were 2.99 for a strand of about forty, and of course, I don't buy them unless they are half off. Sequins, especially those aurora borealis ones tend to look hot pink or green in photos and under lights, so be careful.

For what you are describing, most likely you would have to get it custom made. Or a couture gown that costs waaaay more than 1,000. The longest train for "ready to wear" dresses is cathedral. Pretty much any dress under a grand the longest train you can expect is cathedral.

May have what you want but not pricewise:

YSA Makino(super blingy and definately packs a punch) http://www.ysamakino.com/

You can find used ones that may be in your price range or only a little bit over.
