Birdcage Blusher Veil : Do you take it off after the ceremony or not?

Yardiegirl, on August 24, 2012 at 9:45 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 6

I was just wondering. Brides who wear the traditional cathedral veils usually keep them on and to the back during the reception.

Do you just take off the birdcage veil since it doesn't flip to the back?? Do you roll it up like in that 1st pic?? move it up like in the 2nd and 3rd pic?? or do you keep it on to the front for the dramatic look??

I've been wondering this too. I am probably going to curl my hair as I like to keep it shoulder length, but don't want to go with plain hair.

Maybe take it out and add a pretty hair comb or bobby pins or something?

I am taking mine out afterward and putting a flower clip in.

Maybe try it on and see if you like it rolled up or moved back a bit. If not, then start looking for something to replace it with for after the ceremony. For me personally, I wouldn't want it in my face all night long, but if that doesn't bother you, you could definitely leave it in place as well.

I am wearing a bandeau style birdcage so I will be taking it off afterwards.
