Ok, so both my FH's Parents and Mine speak Spanish only. We are 3rd gen so we have our cousins and friend who are more comfortable in English, have a few uncles/Aunts (my side) that undrstnd English, but most of his uncles/aunts are Spanish only, he has A LOT of English ONLY friends because of work... Anyway long story short, we decided to go with a bilingual wedding our officiant is more than happy to do our ceremony 50/50 and allowing us to decide what’s to be said in Spanish and what’s to be said in English… so I’m happy about that. NOW the trouble I’m having and where I’m stuck is… I’m printing our invitations at home with a BRIDES kit.. I’m printing some in Spanish and some in English. We are having a cocktail hour.
COCKTAILS 4PM – 6PM
And I’m stuck on the Spanish translation.. I’ve search and it gives me “La hora del cóctel”? is this correct? Is anyone else having a bilingual wedding with Spanish invites and a cocktail hour? if so how did you word this?!? Thank you in advance!
