Best time of year for florida wedding

Christine, on April 28, 2022 at 9:48 PM Posted in Florida Planning 0 8
Hi everyone! My fiancé and I finally checked out venues down in the Tampa area as we are planning a destination wedding from Buffalo, ny! We found a venue we love for next year; just still debating the best month to get married. Debating between September-November and weighing pros and cons. Any help would be helpful, thank you!

Hi Christine! Will your venue be inside or outside?? September is still pretty hot - so I'd just take a look at weather sites like WeatherSpark and AccuWeather to get an idea of the average climate for those months!!

OMG, my sister got married at the Bilmar! If you need any recommendations for HMU or photographer, I'd be happy to ask her! She was very happy with vendors.

That would be amazing. Thank you! It’s so hard to know who is good down there. Can you ask her for dj and hair as well? How did she like the Venue?

She absolutely loved the venue!!! I asked her about the DJ, she will have to check with my brother in law. For HMU she used Impressions by Laura. The Knot - Impressions by Laura

And her photographers were Visual Arts Wedding Photography. They are based out of Cape Coral.

    Hope this helps!!!

Can't predict the weather but probably the further away from hurricane season the better. Of September-November, I'd probably guess November.

Hello, My daughter got married in May last year and I live down here in the Central Florida area and have been here for many years. IMO October would be the best weather. Still warm but not as warm or humid- usually. Either that or early November.
The weather can be crazy in FL but I feel like that timeframe is nice.

Do you need recommendations on anything?

Last year, we had our last hurricane arrive in October... I would do November for sure. The weather will be nicer and less humid.

I vote for end of October - you can't go by last year's hurricane as that was a fluke, really. Of course, I think May was the prefect month <grin> but, well, that was for me. I'm in Sarasota, just an hour south of Tampa. Don't do January or February, as those months can be super unpredictable!! Oh, only caution for going to November is that that is when the snowbirds start to trickle down. Adds to traffic, wait times, hotel availability, etc.
