Best pen for wedding invites

seda, on November 2, 2016 at 9:31 PM Posted in Planning 0 16

Is there a specific pen you're planning on using/used for wedding invites? (Addressing the envelopes, writing extra info. On the RSVP cards, etc.)?

I'm planning on purchasing something from Michaels/AC Moore. I've been looking at the slick writer pens but I'm not sure. I'd appreciate any and all ideas Smiley smile

I was going to use a white gel pen (burgundy envelopes) but with the issues I've started having with my carpal tunnel, I think we will be using a calligrapher from Etsy for ours, since it's relatively inexpensive for how few we will have.

I've seen gold sharpie used and it's not so bad since it is cardstock but idk if that's the best option.

For doing calligraphy, I like the pentel brush pens.

As a pen junkie, I like the staedtler triplus fineliners for thin lines or staedtler pigment liners for thicker lines.

Same as MNA, used a white gel pen on dark hunter green envelopes.

Thanks! I'll have to go check them all out. I am wasting way too much time on this than I probably should be... Smiley smile

I used a 2mm felt tip calligraphy pen. Came out looking pretty cool!

@elizabeth not usually. Only if you use a heavy hand, and even then it's rare.
