Best Ma'am Attire/ Suggestions Needed

A tux like the groomsmen, just have her fitted and sexy!

A dress! Either like your MOH's or another brown dress. Don't put a woman in a tux just because she's friends with a guy. Unless she likes dressing like that, of course. But most women would definitely prefer a dress.

I should've told my best friend I was going to put him in a dress since he was standing beside of me... lol. And if I am forced to wear a tux to his wedding, I'd choke them both.

At first I was gonna say do a black dress with the wedding color as a sash thats what my FH best "ma'am" is gonna do for our wedding. But since your color is brown and your FH is wearin a brown suit im not sure what else will work other then a brown dress. For sure try to have it a different dress then the MOH so she could look like she belongs on the grooms side maybe if your bridesmaids are wearing a long dress have her wear a short one or vise versa

Mayb same dress as you MOH but different shade of brown?

What color tie would your FH (and/or GM, if there are any) wear? Perhaps she could coordinate with that?

I would give her the choice.

If I were her, I would hate having to wear guys clothes *but that's just me*. Maybe the same color and fabric than the MOH, but just a diff style??

Thanks for the input --My other color is a muted teal. Groom's suit is dark brown with teal tie. It's a small wedding --we each have one attendant. I thought about just a nice dress in a neutral color-- she doesn't own anything brown other than shoes. She's pretty willing to do whatever I ask her to wear (not a tux).

What are the thoughts on a nice pant suit?

If shes willing to do a pant suit thats made for a woman then go for it. My FH's best ma am said it I wanted her to wear something close to a tux shes willing to do a pant suit. But to me her personality and style isnt a suit she will look much better and comfortable in a dress.

Maybe ask her is she prefers a dress or a pant suit and get her opinion?

I agree with Jamie.T that you should go for a dress instead of Tux.......Just because she is standing with groom doesn't mean that she have to wear tux or suit.......

I would suggest you to let her choose her own dress something in black.......And if possible knee length......here are few pics of dresses i really like....
