Beach Elopement Wedding Dress

Thank you everyone! With the first one, I would likely alter it to have the off the shoulder sleeves like the second- I love that romantic look (and as another mentioned, I'm busty... I want to be comfy not dug into lol!)

Love the first one! If you need a backup that's large-bust friendly, I got a similar dress from Lulu's for our civil ceremony - not on a beach but it definitely felt beachy and would've worked for that setting as it's very lightweight and flowy. It's a little more casual than the one you have your eye on and I did need to add a "modesty panel" between the cups using some of the sheer fabric they trimmed off when altering for my height, but after that it worked perfectly. It was called the "Ocean of Elegance" dress - not on Lulu's anymore but I still see it on Poshmark a lot. I don't have many photos back from that ceremony yet, but here's the dress from Lulu's website and little example of how I altered it.

I honestly think both are beautiful! But go with what gives you butterflies!

I almost got the first dress! I love it, but funny enough kept thinking how much I wish I was getting married at a beach setting vs mountains so i could wear this dress. It screams beachy and easy, flowy, gorgeous!

I’m trying on the first one at DB next Saturday and talking to the designer of the 2nd to see the deadline to order to have it in time- then… I guess square one of deciding 😂

They're both lovely, but for these circumstances, you have to go blue! I think it would make the whole "eloping at the beach" all the more fitting.

I went with dress 2 because dress 1 is back ordered until after my wedding 😂❤️

Update: the dress I custom ordered was canceled due to it being a custom ordered dress and the seamstress lives on the Ukraine/Russia border. Obviously, their safety is 100% more important than the dress so I’m not too upset.


Someone mentioned a Lulu’s dress on here and by sheer luck I found one in my size on Poshmark (the day my order was canceled!) which I snagged. Photo is not me, but this is the dress.
