BBB registry thank you note manager?

FutureMrsS, on April 5, 2017 at 7:33 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 5

When we registered with BBB they told us we could see who had purchased which gifts (like a thank you note manager) I will definitely keep record in my own spreadsheets but I'm just wondering if anyone has used this feature and how to find it on the online registry?

Hi Luisa! Here is BBB's customer support page. They have a Live Chat feature you can use to ask for help!

I don't think they have that. We pretty much find out who sent something when we receive the packing slip. The person sending the gift has to choose to leave a gift note when they check out and sign his or her name. It's on the back of the packing slip.

Crate & Barrel, on the other hand, actually does have an online thank you manager that gives gift givers the option to leave their names and addresses, and you see which gifts they've purchased. If a particular shopper chooses not to leave their name or address for you, it just says the giver did not leave information, but you still see what was purchased by the anonymous person. Our BBB registry definitely did not have this feature.

I wish bbb had this feature. I've received 2 gifts that did not list the sender. In fact, one of them had me listed as the sender and receiver!

I've just emailed them through their help page to ask if they can look up who purchased the item.
