baseball themed invites

Tegan, on February 27, 2012 at 8:26 PM Posted in Planning 0 12

My fiance and I are having a baseball themed wedding. I'm looking for an invitation that involves baseball, but still looks classy. We did the baseball tickets for the save the dates.

Vista prints allows you to choose whatever you want a picture of and make it all your own

Love it!! We were going to do that as well. We added some baseball stuff. We did baseball themed save the dates. We're doing a bat for a guest book. We get a free ice sculpture and that's going be baseball themed. Here is a couple I have found.

Thanks! The second one is really cute, I didn't see it on their website though. We're doing the bat as the guest book as well, probably a ball too. And I think we're going to have a jersey made in our wedding colors with our name and date on it and have the wedding party sign that.

You could also do his favorite team colors for the invite instead of the literal "ball and bat"

And I LOVE this ticket idea that Stephani M. did.

and there are some great ideas on there too!

I like the 2nd one that stacia posted as well - here is one that's a little more subtle but i like it (in whatever your colors are)

we did a custom wedding colors/last name football jersey for our guestbook and LOVE how it turned out. (sorry not the best picture, don't have my pro ones back yet)

You're the second person that I've seen on here today mentioning having a baseball themed wedding. I can't remember who the first person was ]:

Anyway, here are a couple of threads with ideas from our totally awesome WW:

I found who I read about, maybe you can PM her and see what she did for inspiration?

If you want a classy look as Hayley stated about color scheme say you are a New York Yankees fan, choose Navy and White pockets and include a saying and an insignia.

Where the empty space is you can place your baseball logo. You can use a baseball marriage poem like the one shown below.

This is the McPhersons Paper Duvet line and it is classy and interchangeable with quality paper and raised ink. You can have almost any logo or motif you desire and the colors can be changed, too. The motif can be placed almost anywhere on the card.

This ensemble for 100 of everything needed should run about $300-$330 for a guideline.

I think I'll probably end up going with something like that. We're HUGE Yankee fans, but we're actually using our hometown colors, maroon and grey. My fiance coaches here and it's where we met, in hs. So, kinda perfect.
