After planning our wedding since October 2019 and having lots go wrong in the process (postponing by a year, downsizing from 160 to less than 40, dresses going missing, etc etc) we FINALLY did it and got married!!
We were incredibly lucky to have beautiful weather for our outdoor ceremony. Despite having a La Nina event forecast for our summer (wet and miserable!) we had a beautiful clear sunny sky but without the terrible heat we would ordinarily get in Australia during summer.
Everything went off without a hitch (surprisingly) and having a small wedding, while unintended, turned out to be the best decision we made. We had more time with our friends and family, there was less pressure on us, and we actually managed to enjoy ourselves with absolutely no stress at all thankfully.
