Bachelorette Trip Thank You?

StokedToBeASaucier, on August 8, 2017 at 3:32 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 5

My girls took me on an incredible weekend getaway this past weekend. Somewhere within driving distance, and paid for two nights at a house rental, and one of my dinner meals amongst other things. I'd really love to get them each a thank you. What do you think is appropriate? Just a card? A small gift? How much do you think is appropriate to spend on each? Recommendations? Thanks!

A card is fine, but gifts I'm sure would be appreciated. A gift card? Bottle of wine and chocolates? Keep it simple...

Definitely a gift and a handwritten thank you!

    - Spa Certificate

    - Gift cards to their favorite restaurant and clothing store

I would say a cute gift would be enough. Something from Francesca's like a cute coffee mug and a Starbucks gift card, something of that nature.

I helped throw a trip for a friend and we didn't receive anything and honestly it was disheartening. I would say a handwritten letter at the least would be expected. Just tell them how much it meant to you Smiley smile

    Were these friends or bridesmaids?

Typically, the bridal party gifts are considered "thank yous" for hosting events like bridal shower and/or bachelorette party.

However, you can never go wrong with sending a little thank you note to let them know how much you appreciated all their time and effort! If you want, throw in a starbucks gift card or something else small.
