Bachelorette Presents? Please help!

She might be talking about a lingerie shower. Which is totally different.

We'll for me atleast its like a bachelorette party/ bridal shower but with out most of the shower stuff. Its just us girls going out to eat and then to my house for karaoke and some drinking and girl time. Either way she wants to get me a present for it!

Then have her give it to you privately, so you don't make everyone else feel awkward.

Well also where i am from you do bring presents to a bach. party. I know lingerie is one thing but i cant think of anything else.

Ooo, well you could register somewhere so everyone knows what to get you and if its just your MOH getting you somehting, think of something you and FH will need once your married, like a bed set or pillows or a swiffer lol

Well at the bach. parties i heard of they get more "fun" things but like i said toys are out of the question so i really dont know.

A lingerie shower is what you're talking about. People give gifts of lingerie. You put your sizes on the invites.

That is NOT the same as a bachelorette party, where it's not typical to give gifts. It sounds like you are doing one before the other.

Well most bach parites do like naughty favors or give "toys" as you call them lol. i think undies is a cute "fun" gift. um...you could also as for hubbie cards like "get out of doing dishes" card or "free striptease" card. i make those for FH every year for his bday he loves them (he even stocks up on some of them so he doesnt have to do dishes for like a month. but this year i put experation dates on them lol)

I don't think it's really typical to give gifts at a bachelorette party. But when my friend got married (I was a BM) she didn't really want a bachelorette party so we threw her a lingerie shower instead.

Oh, were I come from the bachelorette party starts with a dinner with all the bridesmaids and close girlfriends, and they give " sexy gifts" to the bride which can include, lingerie, or toys, or edible things..... I know my cousin is really planning on getting me back for what I did for hers... To each there own.

I know you don't want toys, but how about games? They have naughty dice (one says things to do like lick and the other will have a part of the anatomy like breast) or card games. Or massage oils? They really can have an innocent use!

My cousin had a fun Panties Shower where all the guest brought a pair of underwear for the bride that showed their own personality. The bride then had to guess who brought each pair. I.e. a more modest person would bring a pair of briefs but the "slut" of your group would bring a racy thong- lol.

At my cousin's bachelorette party - her MOH gave her a basket for the honeymoon - filled with gag gifts. (Fuzzy handcuffs, aspirin in case she has a "headache", etc.) It was pretty funny and clever.

Everyone is different. I am with S2B Mrs Fornasty, for the bachelorette party the bride usually gets 'sexy gifts' from the ladies that attends.
