Bachelorette Party Ideas Needed!

I Yee Yee, on February 8, 2010 at 9:15 PM Posted in Planning 0 8

My bride (I'm her MOH) called and asked me to think of ideas for her bachelorette party. She even suggested having it in Cincinnati. What are your thoughts and suggestions?

We are doing a night out on the town. starts at my place with getting ready, food & cocktails with all the females then the younger ones are going out in a limo in the city to a lounge/night club. I really just wanted a stress free night full of dancing. What is she into? Does she like to drink/dance or is she not into that scene?

I'm over the night club scene, and have been for a couple years. My drinking (more than I should) ended with the start of Junior Year in College. And as for the *raunchy* times we used to have, that door is also closed. My FH has tamed a girl no one ever thought would get married. *giggles*

Instead I would like to do a spa party with all of the close women in my family. There are a few spas in the area that rent out rooms so you can have lunch together in your robes and flip flops, and a lot of them work well with group pricing because bachelorette parties bring in so many people.

But another idea I found at this year's bridal show. There is a company that does, for your party, hair and makeup and a photography shoot of all of your women in *sexy* outfits. It could be interesting for those who like things a little bit out of the box.

My MOH setup a little get together at her house. You know food & drink. Then to my suprise she lets go.... It's time to go? Ok, then I walked out to a limo waiting on us to go out! Then she hands us a paper & made to teams. Finish these ten items before 12 O'clock & meet at this bar.... It was a cute little scavenger hunt. Oh & I forgot my party was themed as soldier girls. Everybody was in camo & our list of things to do was militaru related. Like fine a guy who looks Army material. Find a guy to do ten push ups. Blahhhh, Blahhh. Lets just say it was a great night out! Oh & yes that my Granny in the pic with us crazy girls! Thats team #1!
