I’m trying to make the decision early(ish) for our vendor safety nets, and it would be our first time rescheduling everything instead of the second time. It’s a hard decision to have to make and I dread it. I hope you have a beautiful wedding, and everything comes together beautifully!

August 22nd here! I don't think we will have to postpone our wedding bc we are just having 40 people or so...and it can be outside. I have so much to do still. Christmas got in the way! Just found out my daughter, my maid of honor, is pregnant!!! :0

It’s going pretty well , I’ve secured the venue , florals and pictures . The only things I have left to book is the dj , videographer and wedding cake . I’m going to start sending out save the dates next month .

I'm August 29, 2021. Since I last posted here, I've gotten a bit more done. I now have venue, caterer, photographer, band, and I found my dress! And finally sent out save the dates right before Christmas. I still need to do bridesmaid dresses, flowers, cake, and officiant. I've started looking at bridesmaid dresses so that I have my colors 100% settled before I look at flowers.

Our initial guest list is 130, and that's me purposely keeping it small. That only includes family, wedding party, and a very small number of friends who aren't in the wedding party. My family is so big. I'm getting a bit worried that the vaccine rollout won't be far enough along by then, but I'm still hoping for the best. My venue is outdoors for the ceremony and tented reception, and if the weather is nice they can open up three sides of the tent. I'm hoping that with an open tent and the fact that guests can wander around the outdoor grounds all night that it will end up being ok.

The absolute worst-case scenario for us would be just having a super-small ceremony with immediate family only on 8/29 and then moving the actual reception up to maybe next summer.

August 21, 2021 here postponed from October 17, 2020. I'm honestly feeling anxious about the ability to move forward with our 200 person wedding in August. My dad is immunocompromised, so we have discussed lessening our guest count to be closer to 50. Since the vaccine roll out has been slower than expected, I am very nervous.

Anyone have thoughts or words of encouragement about this?

Jessie, I'm in the same boat! 350 people, August 21, 2021. We are thinking of just eloping with immediate family, bridal party etc. (still 70 people), in April. Not even sure if we can make that happen.

Do you have a target date of when to decide if you will postpone again?

I had a guest list of 250 I cut it down to 125 because I’m not sure what the regulations will be due to covid. I’ve had venue booked since last year. I have my decor/florist , catering, and photography booked. Still trying to decide on DJ and Cake. Bridal party are all taking care of, and I’m sending save the dates out this week. So far it hasn’t been too stressful. I already have my ceremony dress and I’m ordering my reception dress next week. Dress shopping has been difficult due to me being in the process of losing my baby weight 😩😩 .

I was hoping for a fall Wedding, but I’m now an August 2021 bride. August 7th to be exact. Our venue is booked and now we’re working on ordering save the dates to get them out asap.

Late July bride (August honeymooner LOL) and it’s been going. It’s helped just taking one thing at a time. We’ve done just about everything. Right now we are tasked with finding invitation designs. And we are struggling to decide over a signature drink. Just booked our honeymoon flights and finished up with honeymoon planning. Family has started filling up our hotel block.

August Bride getting stressed although not sure why considering its going great so far, and appointments for the wedding are going to be starting soon. I guess just wanting everything to come together as I have visioned. Hopefully, my August Twins are doing great as well and don't stress like me it takes away from the experience and happiness...I am learning that slowly

Just need to book the officiant and dinner reservation. Otherwise everything is already done. Still waiting for people to RSVP though. I just sent out another round of invites today!

Oh! I still have to rent camera equipment too! Although that will take 2 seconds because I have already picked all of the equipment. Just need to get another mic for the live stream!
