Are your guys wearing boutonnieres?

We are doing boutineers but the pocket squares sound nice!

Nope. FH doesn't like them and really didn't want to spend the money on them. He was fairly opinionated on them so I let him have this one.

We are doing boutonnieres, but only because we aren't doing much in the way of flowers for decorations. Other than our bridal party, the only other flowers will be in the centerpieces which are on the smaller side.

Does anyone do both?

I have no idea what we want to do. I'm sure my fiance's decision will be "whatever is cheaper" lol.

Like JessGCB we don't have much flowers. Just centerpieces which are small and small groomsmaid bouquets. No Bride.

FH says they remind him of prom. I may get them for the dads, but if FH doesn't want to wear one, I don't care.

Ours just had pocket squares. We did get bouts for the dads.

@bookcasehat & @jacqui76 -- I was thinking of getting 2 for the dads as well! Maybe I will!

I'm pretty sure we're not doing them. FH definitely doesn't care about having it and I think it's another place to save a bit of money.

No boutonnieres. I'm not a big fan, FH is indifferent, and we'd rather use the money elsewhere.

We ended up doing both. I had gotten bouts and DH liked the pocket squarer. It looked good with both.

We aren't doing either. FH didn't want either.

It was a compromise that FH and I came to. He was pretty adamant about no tie and I wanted him to look dressy somehow. So he's getting a bout.

I think FH is wearing both a boutonniere and a pocket square. That's what he wants. He has 2 best men, we already bought them ties and pocket squares. I'm sure one will not want to wear a flower, the other likely won't care, so I don't know yet about that, FH's stepfather will be the only dad and I doubt he'd want one either.

Pocket squares would be a nice touch.

Currently, we just have FH wearing a boutonniere. Just to set him apart. Our guys are only wearing suspenders and bow ties- no jackets- but I do like pocket squares.

Just bow tie and matching pocket square- no bouts.

I thought it was normal to do both bouts and pocket squares. I guess we will see how it turns out in October!
