Ours are doing both the pocket square and the boutonniere

We did bouts for the men and fathers, and coursages for our moms (BM had a bouquet). They were nice, but did get pretty demolished by the hugging at the receiving line immediately after the ceremony. If you don't like it, definitely no need to do it!

Smat, I'm so glad you posted this! It never even occurred to me that the fellas wouldn't want to wear bouts. I just asked FH and he doesn't want one. Who knew?

We are doing a pocket square and an ivory butterfly lapel pin (in place of the bouts). I'm a bit obsessed with butterflies...

@NewFutureMrs, I never did either and just asked mine now and got a very definite "no" haha

I love the florist I picked so I wanted her to be all over! Haha

We are doing bouts but super simple. Ranunculus with a little baby's breath wrapped in a navy striped ribbon. The dad will be 1 ranunculus, GM will be 2 and FH will be 3 and with some dusty miller thrown in. I like the pocket square idea too but I just love fresh flowers.

Yes they are wearing boutonnieres! We got them for dads and grandparents too.
