Are you putting Ms and Mr (or Ms/ms, Mr/mr, etc) next to your own names on wedding invitation?

Titles are always optional for guests. Unless it’s a black tie wedding where they are required. Titles are not used for the couple either.



Also, unless you are hosting a business event, professional titles such as Doctor or Judge are not used.
We aren’t using titles for anyone.

I’m not putting titles on invites. It’s outdated and one less step to do.

We’re not using titles. All of our guests are younger/more casual so they wouldn’t care lol

We're using titles for guests' names, for respect and so we wouldn't risk ticking off our parents. It's not the hill to die on, IMO. We used Dr. only for those who are actually a medical doctor (not a PhD). No titles on the return address, however.

We did formal Mr. & Mrs on our invites and on return invites we put “Future Mr. and Mrs. Last Name”

We used titles (including Dr. when applicable) for the guests' names and for my parents' names on the invite, since they are both doctors. We did not use titles for our own names

Our return address only had our first names— I bought a personalized ink stamp and wanted something we could use both before and after marriage

We did guest titles for some of our older guests that it would matter to but everyone else we addressed to “the __ family” or the couples names.


For us we got a custom stamp from Zazzle that said “the future (his last name)” with our address on it
