Are you leaving for your honeymoon the day after the wedding?

Obviously my wedding is way too far away for me to know this yet, but I don't think I would want to leave the day after.

Like you said, it would be nice to have some time to relax! and pack in my case lol.

Our wedding will be on a Saturday and as of right now we're planning on leaving on Monday. We don't have any set plans yet so that could change, but I'm really hoping we won't leave any earlier than Monday!

Our wedding was a Saturday night and we left on a red eye late Monday night/Tuesday morning. Sunday I had brunch with friends and family and sat around and did nothing. Monday I packed. It was soooo nice to be able to lay around Sunday and not have to worry about packing.

We're leaving 2 days later for DR. Thank goodness because like you said I need a day to get myself together, pack any last minute items and we have a daughter that's staying with family while away so I want make sure she's okay before we leave. Our wedding is Friday and our Honeymoon begins at 6am Sunday morning. Oh and we have oot guests to mingle with...whew so much in a days work.. Lol

We arw leaving bright and early the next morning....driving from W Michigan to the Smoky Mtns, and I'm an early riser, so I plan on us being on the road by 6:30-7:00am. Told FH he can sleep in the car!

I think we will leave a day or two after the wedding

We are leaving the next day aaround 4pm. We wanted to leave the week later, because it worked better for me work but FH cant do it, so we will be leaving right away. If you can I would recommend leaving a day because you will have rentals to return, tuxes to return and garments to dry clean, papers/ contracts to send in, borrowed items to give back, organization and clean up, etc.

We got married fri ngt and had a 6am flight on sat am. I can honestly say I wish we had a day to rest after the wedding. We had to do it for my H work schedule however if we would of had a choice we would of waited. So I say if you can wait do it.

We are having a brunch for our families the morning after the wedding. We have a lot of OOT family that we really want to make sure we can catch up with, at least a little! We plan on leaving for our honeymoon that evening/night (5 hour car ride).

Our wedding is on Saturday, and we plan to leave very early in the morning on Monday. Sunday will be filled with brunch and cleaning up the venue (a family member's farm), and probably packing.

Our wedding is Saturday and we are leaving that Monday. I will need a day to get my life together and knowing me, I will need it to pack as well. :-)

We might be crazy but we are leaving the night..reception is over at 4pm. Bridesmaids will return my rentals. We will relax on the beach.

We are not having anything with our guests the day after. Just taking it easy. We then go to the airport that night for a red-eye. That way, we have most of the day Sunday to sleep in, relax, put our gifts safely away, and then be on our merry way

FH's brother did it this way, and it worked really nicely for them.

Well I may be living in a different state then the wedding and if that is the case I will have to fly back home the day after the wedding. Our cruise leaves on the Thursday after the wedding but I don't have enough vacation to take Mon-Wed off so I'll have to go back to work for 3 days...

We will be heading for the airport at 6am the next morning :p. but we're doing nothi g but relaxing the first day!

No...we have a lot of guests in town from out of state leaving at various times from Sunday until the following Friday. We will not be going on a honeymoon until around August. Haven't even planned it yet.

No, we are spending 4-5 days in Vegas for our wedding and then a week or two later, we're going on a bigger trip (i.e. honeymoon).

Most likely we will, knowing FH.If not then we will probably be leaving in the evening on Sunday. Not sure about it but I hope I get to relax and enjoy the married life.
