Yes, I am keeping it as a secret from my FH.

I showed it to some friends before I went back and bought it, and have showed it to some others afterward. My mom was there for my first appointment, and my dad went with us too when we went back to buy it.

I mostly refrain from posting about it on here too.

My mom has been real big on encouraging me to keep it a secret from the rest of our family though. I don't really get why, but I've been going along with it. My aunt is coming with my mother and me today for my first fitting, and she swore her to secrecy, lol.

Yes, everything's a secret, the shoes, garter, hairpiece, veil. He knows it's not white, but that's all. He watches SYTD with me, more like he's forced to watch it since he's in the room with me, and he tries to guess but has no idea.

I have thrown off FH Smiley smile I told him before I went shopping that I wanted a big poofy dress, and I ended up with the exact opposite lol so he's going to freak when he sees me. He is my best friend so it is very hard not to show him pictures.

My parents and my grandmother have seen the dress, along with my maid of honor. But that's where I'm drawing the line. I don't want people to see me coming down the aisle and not be wowed because the majority have already seen it.

I've shown pics to my parents, FMIL and a few close friends! I have not given a pic of it to anyone else though (as it don't want it forwarded to anyone else). I won't even post a pic on this site for fear of others seeing it. Of course FH has no idea!

I've showed it to close friends and family. FH wants it to be a secret, which is SO hard, but I know it will be worth it!

I definitely don't want my fiancee seeing the dress. I originally was only going to have the dress be between me and my mom, but changed my mind and let my bridesmaids who live here, my godmother and FMIL see it on the hanger. I'm not letting anyone but my mom see me in it until I go in for alterations next year. I actually posted a discussion about this because my FMIL wanted to include an extra person in the viewing and I just couldn't do it. I don't want guests to see the dress until the big day. I think a bride should have her moment and the dress is a part of that.
