Are you keeping your wedding dress a secret?

My mom came with me when i chose it, and i showed it to my dad and my bridesmaids, either in person or in a picture, but no one else is going to see it prior to the wedding day, and only my mom has seen it on me!

Only my parents and bridesmaids have seen my dress. FH accidentally glanced at a photo (curse you, Windows 10, for showing a photo I hid deep in the computer files to send to a friend!), but he said he couldn't really see much other than it was white and strapless. Oh well, he'll forget about it and be surprised in a few months!

I'm keeping it a secret but it annoys him. He told me he should get a say in the dress LMAO. But yes I've showed friends and family. Even showed his dad.

My FH is adamant that he doesn't want to know anything about my dress. I've shown everyone else who's asked to see it though.

So my dress is staying st my parents house I’m keeping it a secret, however I had to show my gma and an aunt because my mom put me in that awkward position “Melissa show her your dress!” 🙄lol but otherwise she calmed down and my dad hadn’t seen it and won’t and nor will my fiancé until day of

I plan on the mother’s knowingn as well as bridesmaids. Any aunts who want to come help me pick it out are welcome to but otherwise myself and everyone will not be allowed to have pictures to show people

From my FH, yes, thankfully.

From everyone else, no, because my mom pulls out her phone and shows the dress to anyone who asks....

I’m horrible at keeping secrets! I’ve pretty much shown everyone and anyone who cares except for FH.
It is killing me not showing him but I know it’ll be an amazing surprise for him on the big day!

My dress has been hanging in our closet (in a garment bag of course) for about 6 months, he has no desire to see it until the wedding. I tried it on for several of my friends, the only people who were there when I bought it were FMIL and FSIL.

My dress will remain a secret from all individuals and will be custom made. I’m declining a first reveal because I want my fiancé to be blown away when he sees me

I went with my mom and his mom, so they know what dress I got. I’ve showed my friends and his mom showed his grandma and some friends. I’m dying to show my FH, but he doesn’t want to see it until the day of the wedding. My dad doesn’t want to see it until then too.

I'm keeping it a secret from my FH for sure. All of my coworkers, friends, and family wanted to see it though and I don't mind showing them the pictures, especially since after it's altered and I've got my finishing touches on, it'll look different anyway.

I showed pictures to my mom and sister, and probably will to my best friend, too, who is a brisdmaid. And I plan on having my mom come to the shop with me so she can see it on me. But that's it, I haven't shown pictures to my fiancee and don't plan on showing him any of my attire.

FH went with me dress shopping the day I found the dress, so he's seen it and has a pic on his phone of it haha. And both our parents have seen it as well as some of my close friends. FH will also go with me to pick up the dress/do the fit try-on...but i guess it will still look different day of with hair/makeup

I told my fiance its a ballgown because we're doing dance lessons and I wanted to make sure he watched where he was stepping. But I have streaks of blue in my dress that I am so excited for him to see!!! All the friends and family who ask, I show them. Both our moms and my sister went with me dress shopping and all my bridesmaids have seen it. My fiance did see pictures of dresses I said no to, so he has seen me in a wedding dress.

Mines is a secret.. the only people that know are my bridesmaids & our mom’s besides that I want that shock factor. My FH tries to guess what type of dress I’m going to wear but listening to his predictions he has no clue & I’m not going to correct him on these guesses either. 🤫

Mine’s not a secret. I’ve showed pictures to people who ask. I showed FH a picture, although I doubt he actually remembers much about it other than the color lol

Everyone has seen it but my fiance, even my 8 year old son. It'll be different after alterations and with hair and makeup done so I don't think I'm spoiling any surprise.

When I first found my dress, it was online, and I showed a few people what it looked like (pretty much my bridal party only). However, my dress is very different from the "stock" photo. The stock photo had the top in pink and it is strapless.

My dress, the top part is purple and I added a tulle part to the top to cover the cleavage area. The only people that know what it currently looks like is my MOH and my FW's cousin (cause she helped me put it on after I got it back).

It will be a surprise to my FW :-)

FH doesnt want to know, but I'll gladly show it to anyone else who asks! lol
