Nope! Sticking to the one's who actually took the time to meet FH, he did the same with his list of people. If you don't know the both of us, no need to be there. Plus there were a few people, I wanted to text to see if they wanted to come, but then realized I was the one always starting the conversation, so it made it easy for me to decide.

Sort of. DH hadn't seen his bff in years since he lives on the other side of the country but they are still close.

I invited a few people that I was close to before I moved in with my husband (out of state) 9 months ago. They RSVP’ed yes and were also no shows.

Our guest list is mostly people we're close with now, but I did invite a few people I haven't seen recently. I invited one of my best friends from high school that I haven't seen in around 2 years. I was one of her bridesmaids when she got married 3 years ago. She isn't one of mine, but I thought I should at least invite her to the wedding.

Yes! It was a great way to catch up with our old friends. My husband even invited his old tennis coach.

In some cases, yes. My best friends from HS live in South Carolina and I live in Texas. Last time I saw them was their wedding 4 years ago but we've kept in touch. The wife will be one of my ladies and my mom considers the husband as the son she never had.

I think FH has like one or two on his side who's coming, but for me, no. It was tempting to add someone I haven't spoke to in a long time, since her and I were close (or at least I thought we were..) but I decided it didn't make any sense to.

Sticking with mostly close people, and b listing those that I would enjoy attending. Unfortunately life happens, but for a big day like this, I'm hoping to get a few extra loves.

Nope. The only ones invited outside of family are current friends.

For the ceremony it's only people who we actually talk to, but we invited everyone to the reception

We've invited a few but just remember it's your wedding, not a reunion. My fiance is related to 90% of the county but not everyone is invited. We only invited the ones we talk to on a regular basis.

If you invite them to the bridal shower, do you think they’d be expecting an invite to the wedding? Just wondering.
