Are you doing a unity ceremony, if so what will you do?

We're not doing one, but just wanted to say tree planting is one of my favorite unity ceremonies!

I love that idea!!! We are having a handfasting. She originally thought it was only for my religion. Then I explained it not only binds the couple, but the act of placing our hands in each others is symbolic of the trust we are placing in each other. She originally agreed because it is what I want, she's excited for it now.

We fused two seed crystals into a “unity” crystal!

I love the tree idea! But my FH's cousin got married last month and they did a similar thing, so I have ruled out the tree. Instead, my FH is making us a "time capsule" since he is big into wood working.. we are going to ask our family to write use letters, place pictures, etc into the box prior too.. then the day of we are writing/exchanging letters prior to the ceremony, but will put them in the box to read again in 5-10 years.

We are doing a sand ceremony. When I was a kid, I was super into sand art. It seemed fitting. I chose colors that would go with our home decor.

We are doing 2 unique things that I will share after our Wedding.
