Are you changing your monogram?

I’m choosing to change my last name to FH’s and keeping my current middle name. I’m lucky that my last initial will stay the same!

I didn’t know that about women using their maiden initials as their monogram, interesting!

My maiden name initials are LES, but I only started being given monogrammed items after I got engaged. All of them already had LED, so ¯\_(?)_/¯

LED as your initials so it reads LDE, right?

All my wedding stuff that I have bought with monogrammes are my FH last name. So right now its KNL and will be KNB. Everything I have bought is KNB. On a side note my favorite monogrammed thing....we are going to Disney for our honeymoon and got sweaters and tshirts made. They have the Disney castle and just married on the back and mickey/minnie heads on the front with our initials. I was so excited to buy those and sat on my front porch all day waiting for the mail lol...random..sorry

I will be taking FH’s last name. My current initials are DEP (reads DPE if you look at monogram) but I will be using both my maiden and married name in my new monogram (so it will read DSP-a sorority sister of mine did that for her monogrammed jewelry and I loved it! It wouldn’t bother me if I got items with DSE (E being middle initial), the last names are just my personal preference

My FH is taking my last name so mine will be KBS in monograms so no one will have to guess which to put.

I don't monogram things but I just thought I'd say that I didn't even change my signature when I got married the first time- I had gotten used to it LOL.

I went back to my maiden name after I divorced and my husband (I keep trying to type fiance!) agreed to take my name this time

I had told him after a long period of deliberation (because I really liked my maiden name and it's meaningful to me since my dad adopted me and gave it to me), that I wanted us to have the same name, and either I would take his or he would take mine- his choice.

My son is still sad that he can't change his too but my ex won't give permission. I told him he can make up his own mind at 16!

I got my only monogrammed item with my future last initial, so it reads as AWL now figured since I was using it during honeymoon it should have the new initial
