Anyone not wearing traditional wedding shoes?

One of the pairs I am going to wear.

I wore blinged out slippers. They felt like bedroom slippers, but looked reasonably bridal.

I am getting married October 11, 2014. My girls are wearing plum dresses and I am wearing these under my dress! The men are wearing black ones. I have never walked in heels a day in my life, and everyone who knows me, knows how much I love my sneakers! I have got a lot of positive feedback about wearing them. Good luck and congrats!

I'm not a sneaker person but yours are so elegant! Beautifully done!! I'm a ways away from worrying about this but something I often think about - I am 5'5" FH is 6'3" so I'm pretty sure I will be wearing heels.

I should have went with sneakers, lol. you cant see them!! I have a heel spur so no heels for me, EVER!!! unless I go under the knife and get it removed, for now I just dont put my heel all the way down. I am wearing my cowgirl boots!! my padded insoles fit in them and I love them. you cant see your shoes with most dresses anyways.

I wore blue crochet Toms. I can't wear heels and they were super cute with my dress.

I have to walk across two yards in grass so heels were completely out. Not to mention, FH HATES when I wear heels. I'm wearing these as my something blue.

I'm wearing sparkly silver flats for the ceremony and switching to purple converse (with sparkly purple laces) for the reception. FH will be wearing black dress shoes for the ceremony and black and green converse for the reception. We both wear converse sneakers regularly, so not only will we be comfortable, but we'll be "us"!

I'm wearing flats. my feet scream in heels. i'm sorry but i'd rather be comfortable and enjoy my day. hardly anyone is going to see my shoes anyway with my long dress. no point in torturing myself.
