Where do we start? Brittany and TJ have been dating since December 29, 2005. We first met during a production of Leader of the Pack at Hanover Central High School in Cedar Lake, Indiana. We went on to be in Show Choir together at Hanover. Neither one of us knew it at the time, but we could both feel something special for one another. When TJ went off to Purdue in West Lafayette, we kept in touch. It was during Christmas Break of that year, that we started dating. TJ's dad had gotten his mom three tickets to see Blue Man Group for Christmas, but she didn't want to go for a third time. TJ asked Brittany if she would like to go with him and Jason. When Brittany showed up, TJ said that Jason couldn't make it. (Come to find out, TJ never asked Jason.) After the show, was when we were officially dating! Fast forward to May 7, 2013. We had just moved in together with our two dogs, Remy and Jackson. We had been through two undergraduate degrees and were one year away from a Doctorate. TJ had some time off before beginning his last year of his Doctorate program so he was responsible for dinner those two weeks. Brittany came home one night and TJ had his keyboard set up. After serving Brittany the nice dinner he had made, he began playing "The Luckiest" by Ben Folds. (Our song!) After that, TJ got down on one knee and asked Brittany to be his wife. Without hesitation, she said yes!!
